The Z-Wave (TM) Developer's Kit comprises of software and documentation designed to assist developers in rapidly developing products that communicate wirelessly using the RF based Z-Wave technology.
Taken together, these tools meet the needs of developers to design and develop products that integrate the Z-Wave wireless communication capability, and which can then interoperate with other Z-Wave enabled products. Refer also to the Z-Wave Technical Services website for additional information.

For a brief introduction of how to set up the Z-Wave enabled nodes supplied with this Developer's Kit, we recommend you start by reading the document Getting started with Z-Wave.

In addition, we suggest you read the document Z-Wave Node Type Overview and Network Installation Guide. This provides a basic understanding of how devices communicate with each other in a Z-Wave network.

You will get an overview of the documentation as well as the SW included in this Developer's Kit by using the menu presented in the top of the window. Details about how to obtain support and access to Z-Wave Technical Services website is also described.
